Since 1988, Robert Simonson has lived in New York City, arguably the wine and cocktail capital of the world. He does his best to fully enjoy its status as such. And, since he's a journalist by trade, he can't help but write about it. He does so for such publications as The New York Times, Imbibe, Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Malt Advocate, Saveur(dot)com, Edible Brooklyn and Edible Manhattan and (the late) New York Sun. He holds an advanced certificate from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, and another from the Beverage Alcohol Resource.
